Have you ever wanted to run away with the Circus? Now is your chance!
We have open applications for Casual Circus Teachers and occasional opportunities for Circus Contractors to join our team on a short term basis for our School Holiday and in-term Circus Programs!
We welcome applications both from experienced circus instructors and people with social work/teaching experience and minimal circus skills (must have an active interest in arts/theatre/dance/creativity).
Our main teachers are on leave from mid-June to mid-September, 2022. This means we’re seeking both applications from circus artists available for guest workshops / short stays AND people who are available to stay in Northland for 3 months. We may be able to provide accommodation in both circumstances for the right candidate.

Role Requirements
A social and fun personality with the ability to manage and adapt to diverse student needs is the most important teaching factor!
Our ideal candidate(s) to cover our main circus teachers absence would have a diverse range of circus skills and be confident leading group activities and games, as well as being able to help youth develop their own style and solo / group performances.
Wherever possible, staff will be paired with someone who has a complimentary skillset so both the circus and social needs of our students will be met.
As an inclusive employer, we welcome applications from anyone interested in learning more or getting involved with community circus, and will keep candidates in mind for future employment opportunities.
